Worn tyres can now be dropped to site for free

We’ve seen some amazing repurposing of tyres into retaining walls, swings, chairs, and plushy ped beds … but we’ve also seen so many illegally dumped, or worse burnt.

Disposal fees are now a thing of the past with the new Tyrewise scheme – we’ve joined a network of registered partners, like tyre dealers and other resource recovery centres, to provide free public collection points across Aotearoa for worn tyres.

This work is funded by the tyre stewardship fee paid on newly imported tyres, more info here on the innovative Kiwi solutions for end-of-life tyres.
