XTREME ZERO WASTE

We are looking for an Organic Yard Operator to join us for 30 hours a week, reporting to the Organics Team Leader- the fabulous Liz
Day to day, you’ll be:
– Receiving greenwaste, assisting customers with unloading, sorting materials,
-Operating the mulcher and machinery and managing the Horizontal Composting Unit and greenwaste windrows
-Preparing, bagging and stocking compost for sale,
-Maintaining the site — drainage, signage, weed control, and opening/closing procedures
-Helping develop new products alongside the Organics Team Leader
About you:
-You’re comfortable outdoors and have some feel for working with materials, machinery, or in a yard environment
-You hold a full NZ driver’s licence (digger and forklift experience is a bonus but not essential- we can train you )
-You’re good with people and keep a calm head when things get busy
-You’re reliable, physically fit, and happy to get stuck in — solo or as part of a team
-You care about the work and want to be part of something that matters
