Kia ora to all residents living in the wider Raglan areas, Te Mata, Te Uku, Te Akau and Waitetuna.
Recycling can be taken to sort into the sea-freight container depots at Te Uku or Te Mata.
You can recycle Glass, Aluminium Cans, Tin Cans, Plastics number 1 2 and 5, Cardboard and Paper.
All items must be cleaned first at home, then sorted into the correct zones. This depot is only for rural residents household recycling NOT dumping of any items (fridges, furniture, carcasses to name a few examples we’ve seen). These hubs are emptied by our team 5 days a week.
Landfill must be disposed of into our certified pre-paid bags (blue 60 litre or green 30 litre) and placed at the following locations:
Kerbside collection will be every Monday, the rural collection points are also emptied Mondays, including public holidays.
Pre-paid bags are available to purchase from our Kaahus Nest shop, Te Uku Store, Four Square, Fresh Choice, and BP gas station.
Larger items for disposal must be brought to our site on 186 Te Hutewai Rd.
