Native American Community Academy tour – Thursday 4 July

On Thursday 4 July Niki and Rick hosted a senior graduate group of 13 students (aged appx 17-18) and their 3 Kaiako from Albuquerque, New Mexico. They are from the Native American Community Academy. They were given a powerpoint about the Xtreme creation story and linkages between our vision and their Academy vision.  We then had a site tour and more discussion about waste issues and producer responsibility.

Their vision: a thriving and dynamic community, coming together to create a place for students to grow, become leaders, and prepare to excel in both college and life in general.

Our values: Ako: sharing knowledge, skills and motivation. Regenerating: leaving our environment in a healthier state. Professional: high performance, high quality customer service. Community: spending locally, donations, employing locals, collaborating, meeting local needs. Leadership: all staff being leaders, an innovative and creative organisationnativeamerican
